Add text and titles
Add titles, the speaker's name or any text to a Videospan video, then style it with fonts, colors, outlines, backgrounds and fades.
Add a title, the speaker's name, or any text you like, and style it to match your brand.
Steps
- Open a video and select Edit.
- Select Text. Quick Add offers text from the video: the collection's question, the video title, and the speaker's name, role and company.
- Select one to add it to the middle of the video, or select Add Custom Text for a blank text box.
- Style it in the inspector: change the font, Font size, spacing and alignment.
- Open Layout and use the alignment buttons to move it, or drag it anywhere on the canvas.
- Drag the ends of its item on the timeline to choose how long it stays on screen.
Good to know
- More styling. Color / Opacity, Stroke and Background add color, an outline, or a box behind the text.
- Animate it. Fade and Transition bring the text in and out smoothly.
- Always up to date. Quick Add uses the video's own details, so check the title and speaker information on the video page first.

Add a title, the speaker's name, or any text you like, and style it to match your brand. Open the video and select Edit. Select Text. Quick add fills in text from the video for you: the collection's question, the video title, and the speaker's name, role and company. Select the speaker's name, and it's added to the middle of the video. Add Custom Text gives you a blank text box instead. Use the inspector to style it. Here we make the font size bigger. You can also change the font, spacing and alignment. Open Layout and select Align bottom to move it down, or drag it anywhere on the canvas. Color and opacity, Stroke, and Background add color, an outline, or a box behind the text. Fade and Transition animate it in and out. To change how long the text stays on screen, drag the ends of its item on the timeline. Every change saves automatically.
