The video page
A tour of the Videospan video page: title and speaker, the player and Video Map, and the Ask AI, Transcript, Insights, Versions and Comments panels.
Open any video and you land on its video page, where everything about that video lives. From here you can watch it, edit its details, ask AI about it, see what's changed, talk it over with your team and share it.
Steps
- Select Content in the sidebar and open any video.
- To change the video's title or speaker details, select Edit next to the title at the top, make your changes and save.
- Use the panel on the right to explore the video:
- Ask AI answers questions about the video, like summarizing a section or describing what's on screen.
- Transcript shows what was said, word by word.
- Insights lists the scenes, chapters, highlights and quotes that AI found.
- Versions keeps every edit, render and template applied to the video, so you can restore an earlier one.
- Comments is where your team discusses the video.
- Play the video from the player, and use the Video Map below it to jump straight to a chapter, scene or highlight.
- When you're ready, use Share at the top to send it as a link, an embed or a download, or Edit to open it in the editor.
Good to know
- Collapse the panel for more room. Selecting the tab that's already open collapses the side panel. Select any tab to bring it back.
- Transcript and Insights fill in after processing. A transcript needs speech in the video, so videos without talking won't have one.
