Version history
Every edit, render and template applied to a Videospan video is kept as a version, so you can rename, compare and restore earlier versions.
Every time a video is edited, rendered or given a template, Videospan keeps a new version. You can name versions so your team can find them, and restore any of them.
Steps
- Open any video from Content, then open the Versions panel.
- Review the list: each version shows who made it and when. The original upload is always kept.
- To name a version, select Rename, type a name like Approved for website, and press Enter.
- Select Try a template, or Browse templates, to create a new version from a template.
- To make an earlier version the one people see, restore it. Share links update automatically.
Good to know
- The original can't be deleted. You can delete other versions you no longer need.
- Restore from the menu. Restore Previous Version is also in the ⋮ menu at the top of the video page.
