Share a video with a link
Create a branded share link in Videospan so anyone can watch your video in their browser, no account needed.
A share link lets anyone watch your video on a branded page in their browser, with no Videospan account needed. You can keep it simple with Quick Share, or turn it into a branded presentation with your own layout, title and call to action.
Steps
- Open the video you want to share.
- Select Share, point to Branded Playback Page, then choose Create New Link. The link is created right away, and its Public Link Settings page opens.
- Under Link Details, give the link a Name and Description. Only your team sees these, and they make the link easy to find later.
- Leave it on Quick Share for a simple player, or choose Presentation for a branded page and pick a Layout Style: Vertical, Video Left or Video Right.
- Select Save.
- Select Copy Link and share it in an email, a chat or anywhere else. Use Open Link to see exactly what viewers will see.
Good to know
- Customize the page in Presentation mode. The Formatting tabs let you change the page's Appearance, add a CTA Button, set the Title viewers see and attach Resources. Turn on Allow download to let viewers save the video.
- Save a setup for next time. Save as Config stores your layout choices so future links can start from them.
- One video, many links. Create a separate link for each audience or campaign, so you can track and manage each one on its own.
