View and download a transcript
Read a Videospan video's word-level transcript, jump to any line, and download it as VTT or SRT captions, plain text or Markdown.
Videospan transcribes every video automatically, word by word, with timing and speaker names. You can read it alongside the video, jump to any line, and export it as captions or text.
Steps
- Open any video from Content, then open the Transcript panel.
- Read along: each line shows who is speaking and exactly when.
- Select any line to jump to that moment in the video.
- To export, select the download button, then choose a format: .vtt or .srt captions, .txt, or .md for AI tools. Or choose Copy to clipboard.
Good to know
- Speaker labels. Switch between the plain view and the speaker view at the top of the panel.
- Fix mistakes first. Edits you make to the transcript carry through to every download.
- Need a fresh transcript? Select Re-transcribe to transcribe the video again, for example after adding words to the Lexicon.
