Translate a transcript
Translate a Videospan video's transcript into another language, added alongside the original, to reach viewers in their own language.
You can translate any transcript into another language, so viewers can read along in their own language. The translation is added alongside the original transcript.
Steps
- Open any video from Content, then open the Transcript panel.
- Select the translate button.
- Under Translate to, choose a language, like Spanish.
- Select Translate.
Good to know
- The original stays. Translating adds a new language; the original transcript is never replaced.
- Fix the original first. Translations are made from the current transcript, so correct any mistakes before you translate.
- Download translations. Export a translation as captions or text the same way as the original.
Video transcript
You can translate any transcript, to reach viewers in their own language. Open a video, then the Transcript panel. Select the translate button. Choose the language you want, like Spanish. Select Translate. The translation is added to the video, alongside the original transcript.
