Set your AI language
Choose the language Videospan uses for AI-generated summaries, chapters and Ask AI answers.
Your AI language is the language Videospan uses when it writes things for you, such as summaries, chapters and Ask AI answers. Set it once and AI features respond in the language you prefer.
Steps
- Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open your avatar menu, then choose My Profile.
- Open the AI Language tab.
- Under Preferred language, start typing to find your language, then pick it from the list.
- Select Save language. You'll see Language saved.
Good to know
- It's saved on your device. If you use Videospan on another computer or browser, set your AI language there too.
- Transcripts aren't translated. A transcript always stays in the language spoken in the video. Your AI language only affects text that AI writes for you.

Your AI language sets the language for AI summaries, chapters, and Ask AI answers. Open your avatar menu at the bottom of the sidebar, and choose My Profile. Open the AI Language tab. Start typing to find your language, then pick it from the list. Select Save language. From now on, summaries, chapters, and Ask AI answers will use this language.
