Videospan is looking for a Senior Video Engineer to lead the development of our core video processing infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable video rendering pipelines that power thousands of automated video creations daily.
What you'll do
- Architect and optimize high-performance video rendering pipelines using FFmpeg and Rust.
- Develop custom WebCodecs implementations for browser-based video manipulation.
- Scale our serverless rendering infrastructure to handle massive concurrent loads.
- Collaborate with the product team to enable new creative capabilities through engineering innovation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on video technology.
- Deep knowledge of FFmpeg, video codecs (H.264, HEVC, VP9, AV1), and container formats.
- Proficiency in systems programming languages like Rust, C++, or Go.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS Lambda, ECS, or similar) for video processing.
